About This Exhibit
This exhibit documents the institutional relationship between Argo Futures Group, Inc. and Peregrine Financial Group (PFG), including the M7 joint-venture structure through which Argo Wealth Management and PFG collaborated on a multi-advisor managed-futures program combining seven selected commodity trading advisors.
Peregrine Financial Group was a registered futures commission merchant and NFA member. In July 2012, PFG's principal, Russell Wasendorf Sr., was arrested following the discovery of a long-running fraud involving the misappropriation of customer funds. PFG subsequently entered bankruptcy proceedings. The collapse of PFG was one of the most significant disruptions to the futures industry following the MF Global failure of October 2011.
Archival documentation of this relationship — including primary-source materials from the M7 joint-venture period — is currently in progress. This exhibit will be expanded upon completion of the authentication process.
